Due to the cold weather in Jacksonville,Florida recently , we discovered several broken water pipes. The Technician, Andrew Mitchell, was prompt in keeping our appointment. He diagnosed the problem and went to work immediately. He expertly repaired the broken damaged pipes and temporarily fixed the drywall. He assured me the company would be reaching out on Monday complete final drywall replacement. Andrew displayed confidence in his work. Thank you to the Fenwick team and Andrew for getting the leaks fixed promptly without damage to the walls.

My AC went out in July in Jacksonville Florida late on a Saturday afternoon (yesterday), my neighbor recommended Fenwick so I gave them a call around 5:30 pm. Their technician Buster Davis was here at 8am Sunday morning. Buster was fantastic, he was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. He gave me several options, shorter and long term fixes, including a budget friendly option that would fix the issues that were preventing it from working same day. A lot of times with emergency home repair companies they will make you feel pressured into getting more than what you asked for or needed. I did not feel that pressure with Buster. He of course suggested replacing my unit eventually but was honest that it didn’t need to be done today. He replaced a motor and another part having to do with a fan and it’s been in working wonderfully ever since. Buster gained my trust today, so when the time comes when I do have to replace my entire AC unit, I’ll be using Fenwick.

No need for him to ride on the shoulder to merge in front of my truck and definitely no need to flip me off when I honked at him to call out his stupidity of putting us both at risk of a unnecessary accident because he feels my time is more important than mine. My outside AC unit was making a HUGE grinding noise every time it stopped. With a referral from ANGI, I was contacted by Fenwick Waychoff’s HVAV Service. Not did they call within 10 minutes, but a tech was sent out the same day! I was provided with the name of the tech in advance and he arrived right on time. He was friendly, experienced and patiently listened as I tried to make the noise I was hearing. He got right to work, quickly found the trouble, then clearly explained to me what had gone wrong, including where he was able to make improvement. If you need AC repair and live in the Jacksonville, FL area, then Waychoff’s should be your first call. Their service was outstanding!

Summer in Jacksonville is NOT the time to be without AC! Coming home from a trip to find a wet and clogged and non functional unit was rough. The service technicians, Dillon and Sean, were on time, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I was given options for repair or replace of the water heater. Dillon showed me the problems with the water heater and I chose to get a new one. Work was done within a couple of hours, total! I checked the average price of remove/install of a water heater in Jacksonville FL and Fenwick’s charges were in the mid range. Three months after the new water heater was installed I began having a sulfur smell from the water spigots in the kitchen and b.r. I contacted Fenwick and a ‘technician’ was sent out and told me the water heater was too new to have problems. I asked him to raise the temp only the water heater thermostat and he told me he raised it ‘5 degrees’. Within a few days the smell from the hot water faucet got worse and I called a real plumber. He determined that the water heater temp was too low. When he checked the thermostat it was 125 degrees, meaning that the set up temp. was 120 degrees. He upped the temperature to 140 degrees, drained the water tank, ran water through the house faucets and the odor has gone away. I would like to be reimbursed for the $89.00 service fee Fenwick charged me for that three months visit.

Fenwick Jacksonville just finished a complete repiping of our house's water supply plumbing due to a slab leak, plus replacement of nearly all faucets and fixtures. From start to finish, the Fenwick team provided the best customer service experience one could ever expect. Master Plumber Darryl Lucas and Crew Lead Plumber Matt Atnip were unbelievably attentive and accommodating of our needs and carried out the work expertly with a very high attention to detail. Every single plumber who worked on this large project were excellent. Lastly, everyone on the work crew were extremely professional and very personable.

We were taken advantage of from a Jacksonville company when we needed help. DO NOT use this company for any plumbing, cooling or heating needs even if it’s an emergency. Please read the following: We called FENWICK for assistance with our HVAC. During a recent cold snap our HVAC system froze and required immediate attention. A technician arrived and said he couldn’t work on the system until it was defrosted. If it wasn’t frosted that night, he wasn’t sure when he or any other associate could return. He said it would cost $188.00 to defrost the system. For over an hour the associate and I, in freezing temperatures, late in the evening, using hot water from our bathroom tub and our buckets, defrosted the unit. He diagnosed the problem and said we needed a Heat Pump Defroster Sensor. (part number: HH18HA279). The part had to be ordered and would take 5 to 7 days and the part would cost $441.00. Installation could take another 5 to 7 days. FENWICK charged us $89.00 for the service visit and $188.00 to defrost the unit. The part was installed about a week later. While waiting for the part I went to their web site and found that 3 coupons were available but were not offered. We asked the technician why he didn’t offer the coupons to which he replied “that’s up to you”. I took a photo of the part number and found that the part was sold by FACTORY AUTHORIZED PARTS. I found the part on-line for $31.00 and that it was available from Amazon and could be delivered free the next day. The final cost was $490.00 for the installation of a $31.00 part. After questioning the cost, FENWICK offered to waive the $89.00 service fee and offered to honor the coupons we found on-line from their web site. Our final cost was $530.00 ($342.00 plus $188.00) for the service call. Caveat Emptor!

On Wednesday Oct 30th, Matt and Paul came to look and our tankless hot water heater which had stopped working. They were very personable and quickly began to diagnose the problem, which was determined that it was in dire need of being cleaned. They worked for quite a while to clean it, even pausing to take pictures of the process. They kept me Informed of everything they were doing and answered all questions that I had. They were extremely knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable that it was being done right. They also had other suggestions about my water softener system, which I appreciated. When they finished, we had hot water! The bill was reasonable as well. My husband and I really appreciate the services provided by Matt and Paul, especially since they came all the way from Jacksonville to Glen St Mary, which was more than many others were willing to do. Some companies never even returned our calls. We had an exceptional experience with this company and its employees. We appreciate all they did for us and would highly recommend them. Bill Fenwick Plumbing did met my expectations We have a Miele Futura diamond dishwasher. Because we moved from Orlando to Jacksonville the Miele company concierge service will not install it again, so we choose this company to haul the old unit and install ours - phone service people were excellent getting us a requested date and were kind - installers were on time as scheduled. - the unit got well installed and its working great Will definitely call them again if needed.
