The tech MR MECO came out and charged 1600 dollars to add 6 pounds of coolent .I complained and the manager agreed he overpriced us . They gave me back 600 dollars . I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN .

If I could give a ZERO star for their COMMUNICATION I would. I have had no heat or AC since Friday Feb. 20. The tech told me that it would be Monday before they could get the part. OK. Been waiting and waiting for a call this Monday morning, since 8am as to the status. I finally called at 11:15am. Was told part is on factory backorder with NO ETA. Ok. I understand the backorder. The problem is THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME. I needed to prepare one way or the other for freezing cold temps tonight and tomorrow night. Other than their communication I have been very happy with this company from them installing the new unit, maintenance/up keep service and to the service calls for problems. That I will give 5 stars.

Actually yes, the technician exceeded my expectations. Everything was organized for my convenience, they work on weekends too. I received a text when technician was on his way. Whatever other companies told me about my AC turned out not to be true, no mold inside, just water stains I wiped myself with paper towel. I don’t need to install anything else outside either. Overall I was very pleased with professionalism of the technician and I can highly recommend Fenwick company for your AC needs. Definitely going to work with them!

I wanted to change my thermostat to a smart thermostat. I called Fenwick because I’ve used them in the past to install a hot water heater. John arrived and was extremely professional. He changed out my thermostat using one I had purchased on Amazon, helped me set up the app so I could control the thermostat, cleaned up after himself, and made sure everything was working well before he left. I felt the price was very reasonable andI highly Recommend Fenwick Waychoff HVAC Service.

I had to have the coil replaced back in July of this year which cost me about $3400 and it froze up last week. A technician came out and could not find out why. Before I spend another $500 to have another company come out to see if it's the coil, unit or main line i have called Fenwick once a day for the last t business days asking for a manager call back and no one has called. Not very great CS to try and get this resolved.

FENWICK WAYCHOFF came highly recommended by a neighbor and they did not disappoint. I thought A/C repairs would take weeks. Not only was I able to book an appt at 8:30pm for the next day, but the repairs were completed the same day! Technician, Austin, explained the issue, repairs needed, and costs thoroughly (and in terms 2 non-mechanical homeowners could easily understand 😅). I am amazed at the service we received and still in shock that it’s completely fixed after one visit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a Lennox System installed today. Man nothing but professionalism and the crew very respectful. Cody my technician was professional and courteous. Arrived on time. I will update in 2 weeks. I am very thorough when researching big ticket ITEMS. My salesman was Tony Kurtis.. The man was straight forward and respected my decision to take my time. The process was smooth. Got a great deal and all the bells and whistles. Well worth the investment. Fenwick really did right by me. Very reasonable. You get what you pay for if you try to cheap it up. Just saying. SORRY THIS WAS A LATE POST> SHOULD OF POSTED IN APRIL 2024. I FOUND OUT IT NEVER WENT THROUGH

This happened a year ago, but the feelings are still the same. We have since moved on to another local HVAC company. So, Fenwick, are you going to fix Waychoff's mess? On Oct 7, 2024, we had an appointment with Waychoff's to take a look at my HVAC system because the home was getting very humid, although the system was cooling the home. Jerald assessed that the blower motor was constantly on and needed to be replace. Fortunately the part was under warranty for the 3.5 year old Carrier unit that was installed by the original company Air McCall on Jan 2021. Unfortunately, the labor cost was $840, which was a rip off. When asked why the labor cost was so high, Jerald just played dumb and basically said "that's what the people in Pennsylvania just tell us". But after all, he's just a pawn in the whole corporate scam. My wife called the company and was asking for a breakdown on why the labor cost for 30-45 mins of labor was so high. A lot of vague answers with no clarity. And supposedly a service manager was suppose to call back, but we know that's not going to happen. Jerald also then started talking about how the blower motor under warranty was a $2800 part, which is also bogus. Like really? You can do better than that, Jerald. Needless to say, we hate that our original installer Air McCall was bought by some corporate machine and is now charging outrageous prices. Had it not been that we had family evacuating to our home that day because of Hurricane Milton, we would have spent the extra day or two looking for a much more competitive price. So, we're moving on from Waychoff's. Good riddance.

Terrible Experience with this company - have been without AC for over 10 days, with two babies living in the home . A technician diagnosed the failed compressor and said parts would arrive in 2–3 days, yet there has been no clear update since. Despite calling multiple times, I never received a direct response or escalation to a supervisor. It feels like they never truly care about customer concerns — customer service is the worst I’ve experienced, with multiple layers to go through just to reach the right department. This lack of urgency and accountability is unacceptable, especially in extreme summer heat.

The reason for my 5-star rating is the service I have and continue to receive after purchasing my unit. The technicians and dispatchers go above and beyond to help out and make sure the customers get taken care of. Update 8/29/25: I had a bit of trouble with my system on the 27th. The initial customer service rep I spoke with greatly frustrated me, but I was able to call back and get wonderful service from Devon. The next day, Ben came out to my house, checked out my system, completed work on it, and was just absolutely amazing. Ben was always smiling and you could tell he took pride in his work and was genuinely a nice guy. I was very impressed with the young man. On the 29th, one of the managers reached out to me about the trouble I had with the rep and was very receptive of the feedback, taking the time to review the call and will use the situation as a teachable moment. This is how companies become great companies .. by investing in their employees and using any situation to help employees grow and do better. I am happy with Fenwick and will continue to definitely use their services!

I would like to say that Justin was very professional and explained what he needed to do for the wife and I would understand before he did the work. He changed out our Kitchen lights to LED, what a big difference in the brightness in the kitchen. Different time 2months prior we had a new a/c and heat pump installed at our home and the service was also outstanding. I have to say that I will be using them again someday.

Our system wasn’t running right and when I went to remove the filter to change it, it wouldn’t come out. It was stuck as you can see it frozen over. They came out the very next day, which was fine because the air still worked, and Larry handled the whole thing from start to finish. He didn’t leave until the unit was defrosted and up and running excellent

Fenwick used to be the number one choice for my plumbing repairs, but they have become greedy like everyone else. Had a toilet issue and the repairman from Fenwick said that it would be 383.00 to pull up the toilet and repair the "O" ring. He didn't want to do the job and you could see it from his demeanor. He then stated if I have to pull up the toilet I will break the toilet. He then stated, "Thank you Ma'am, it will be 89.00 for the call." Do not ever use Fenwick. They are now heating and air too and had the same problem with their greed when I had them look at an air conditioner. Buy a new outrageous system was their advice and had another company come out and look at it and repaired it right away. Had a handyman look at my toilet and he fixed the problem for only 105.00. Do not use Fenwick. Greedy and a waste of time.

The service and the AC repair man was outstanding. Was told by Florida Home AC that my unit was broken and that I needed a new unit. Fenwick found a plugged system, unplugged the clog and system runs fine now. Thank you for your honesty!

My AC went out in July in Jacksonville Florida late on a Saturday afternoon (yesterday), my neighbor recommended Fenwick so I gave them a call around 5:30 pm. Their technician Buster Davis was here at 8am Sunday morning. Buster was fantastic, he was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. He gave me several options, shorter and long term fixes, including a budget friendly option that would fix the issues that were preventing it from working same day. A lot of times with emergency home repair companies they will make you feel pressured into getting more than what you asked for or needed. I did not feel that pressure with Buster. He of course suggested replacing my unit eventually but was honest that it didn’t need to be done today. He replaced a motor and another part having to do with a fan and it’s been in working wonderfully ever since. Buster gained my trust today, so when the time comes when I do have to replace my entire AC unit, I’ll be using Fenwick.

Jesus was very professional and efficient. He made quick repairs to my blocked furnace line and checked out the complete HVAC system. He advised me to put 1 cup of bleach in the line once a month to prevent future blockage. I signed up for regular maintenance every 6 months at a very reasonable cost. My inside temp was staying at 84-85 degrees before my system was up and running again, and I was relying on my ceiling fans for minimal comfort. It was wonderful getting the a/c back in service!.

My outside AC unit was making a HUGE grinding noise every time it stopped. With a referral from ANGI, I was contacted by Fenwick Waychoff’s HVAV Service. Not did they call within 10 minutes, but a tech was sent out the same day! I was provided with the name of the tech in advance and he arrived right on time. He was friendly, experienced and patiently listened as I tried to make the noise I was hearing. He got right to work, quickly found the trouble, then clearly explained to me what had gone wrong, including where he was able to make improvement. If you need AC repair and live in the Jacksonville, FL area, then Waychoff’s should be your first call. Their service was outstanding!

We have been customers of Waychoff’s since 2017. We signed up for their routine maintenance and purchased every extra filter or accessory (light, tstat) they recommended. When our AC had to be replaced in 2020 we installed the unit they recommended. When our new unit was around three years old, we started having problems. We have been completely without AC 4 times before today’s break down. Each breakdown took days to resolve (the worst was 5days) because they don’t carry the parts for the unit they installed. We stuck with them because the unit was under warranty but started wondering about their abilities after the second breakdown. This current breakdown is the third in 4 months! When the tech arrived today, before even looking at the unit he started out by telling us it was out of warranty (they just replaced parts 5 weeks ago) and that the design of our system is problematic (we’ve never been told this). Since we always get a different tech, we felt he may not be aware of all of the prior issues so we started explaining and questioning what the problem could be this time and if they could fix it. He became frustrated quickly and told us it would be better if we called someone else. Reflecting on his visit now, I think he showed up expecting a confrontation and was prepared to argue with us about anything being covered under warranty. We also wonder if they are frustrated because they can’t fix our AC and wiling to lose a customer rather than make it right at this point. So now, we have a new company coming this afternoon. Praying they are more qualified.

The tech arrived at the beginning of the appointment and had to crawl out of my window at one point to get to the main unit and did it with a smile on his face. We were taken advantage of from a Jacksonville company when we needed help. DO NOT use this company for any plumbing, cooling or heating needs even if it’s an emergency. Please read the following: We called FENWICK for assistance with our HVAC. During a recent cold snap our HVAC system froze and required immediate attention. A technician arrived and said he couldn’t work on the system until it was defrosted. If it wasn’t frosted that night, he wasn’t sure when he or any other associate could return. He said it would cost $188.00 to defrost the system. For over an hour the associate and I, in freezing temperatures, late in the evening, using hot water from our bathroom tub and our buckets, defrosted the unit. He diagnosed the problem and said we needed a Heat Pump Defroster Sensor. (part number: HH18HA279). The part had to be ordered and would take 5 to 7 days and the part would cost $441.00. Installation could take another 5 to 7 days. FENWICK charged us $89.00 for the service visit and $188.00 to defrost the unit. The part was installed about a week later. While waiting for the part I went to their web site and found that 3 coupons were available but were not offered. We asked the technician why he didn’t offer the coupons to which he replied “that’s up to you”. I took a photo of the part number and found that the part was sold by FACTORY AUTHORIZED PARTS. I found the part on-line for $31.00 and that it was available from Amazon and could be delivered free the next day. The final cost was $490.00 for the installation of a $31.00 part. After questioning the cost, FENWICK offered to waive the $89.00 service fee and offered to honor the coupons we found on-line from their web site. Our final cost was $530.00 ($342.00 plus $188.00) for the service call. Caveat Emptor!

During the coldest temps we've seen in years my HVAC Condenser froze and stopped working. I contacted Fenwick and they replaced the failed Condenser Coil Temp Sensor but there were additional problems keeping my unit from not heating. The Service Manager Jesse worked with the manufacturer to obtain a new Honeywell Truezone Zone Control Board under warranty and Adam worked diligently to install the new parts and troubleshoot a multitude of issues and even effected a workaround to get my Aux Heating to turn on when being called by the Thermostats. Fenwick made every effort to get my system repaired at a time when they were overloaded with heating service calls and I very much appreciate their efforts. I have worked with Jesse and Adam in the past and strongly recommend them to everyone as they also treat customers very fairly with labor costs.

A name and company you can trust for plumbing, heating and air. Living in Orange Park Florida, you know Florida weather can be bipolar during the winter. One day you’re running heat and the next you’re running your AC. I kicked on my AC on Saturday only to discover it wasn’t blowing cold air. I immediately jumped online and scheduled for a technician to come out. Always available and not outrageous for a weekend service check. Ryan was my technician for a scheduled appointment Sunday to determine issue and showed up at schedule window. Knowing the unit is 24 years old much of the parts and items have become obsolete and you can’t bandaid things any longer. Now to have estimate for getting things back in running order without issues. I called upon them for replacing AC on my deceased sisters home where my nieces reside. I’ve had them replace my water heater when that went out. Now I trust in them for my own AC/heating needs.

The technician was great and explained a variety of things that may be causing the issue with my AC unit, but ultimately it’s two days later and my upstairs unit is still not cooling down the bedroom and loft. The thermostat showed 99 degrees when he first arrived and after paying more than $600 to correct the issue it’s still almost 80 degrees upstairs 2 days later. Not satisfied with the results so I’m hopeful they will correct the issue timely.

After weeks of searching for the right company let me just say I was totally satisfied with Fenwick. From my first conversation to my last conversation I was very satisfied with my experience with everyone I came in contact with.. I highly recommend Fenwick for AC services and/or new units. They offered the best warranty out of 10 companies I researched. 12 years on parts and labor unheard of even coming from their competitors. A special thanks to Holly who has the patience of Job she knows how to explain things in terms where you can keep up with her. She’s not a pushy salesperson. Lastly, to all The workers that came out every last one of them was very respectful, kind, and professional. They cleaned up after they done and explained how to work the system in its entirety. Great customer service Fenwick. I almost forgot to mention they had the best price out of my all my quotes. This is not a paid advertisement for sure.

When your AC goes out you are looking for someone with the same level of urgency as you! Fenwick did just that! They booked me and then called me throughout the day to let me know a sooner time was available. The techs were patient and willing to explain immediate vs. short term needs. It was easy to make an appointment and the tech arrived on time. We had an a/c drain pipe break inside the wall. Our tech Ryan M was very professional and careful not to cause damage as he investigated the break. He did a great job fixing the break and the system was up and running quickly.

I am not a huge fan of sales meetings, but she was so personable and I could tell she truly wanted to help me find the best solution for my home. I was then able to get an appointment next day. The installers Dylan and Caleb exceeded my expectations. Dylan was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The entire experience was great. The booking process was easy and user friendly. I was very happy to find Fenwick who had the available appointment on the forth of July weekend. My AC went out on Saturday afternoon and they were able to come and fixed my AC the very next day in the morning , which is a Sunday. Late on Friday, 8/6/21, our Carrier air handler began leaking condensate water onto the floor. After trying to identify and fix the problem myself, I began searching for a reputable A/C repair company on Yelp. I discovered Fenwick Services had good customer reviews. At first, I scheduled an 8am to 12pm appointment for Saturday, 8/7/21, using online form on Fenwick’s website. However, the system sent me text message with a Sunday, 8/8/21 appointment. So, I called and spoke with the evening receptionist who quickly revised the appointment to my original Saturday timeslot. I want to give special thanks to that receptionist for providing outstanding customer service late on a Friday evening. The next day, I received an email confirmation that my HVAC technician would be Jesses Wilson. Jesse arrived on time, dressed in a clean and professional uniform. After introducing himself, he quickly got to work assessing and correctly diagnosing the cause of my leak, which was a partially clogged drain pipe and a malfunctioning emergency shutoff float switch. Jesse cleared the blockage and, reinstalled new PVC pipe leading out of the air handler and a new shutoff switch. The new pipe installation included an access port with a cover, enabling me to treat the drain with white vinegar flush once a month to help keep the drain clear. This is a feature I hadn’t had before. The repair job took 90 minutes to complete and test and was done for a very reasonable price, especially for a Saturday (My HVAC systems have always seemed to fail on weekends, holidays, and evenings ). I was truly blessed to find Fenwick Services and to have Jesse Wilson as my HVAC Technician that day. Fenwick Services now has a new and loyal customer for life! Kudos to the entire Fenwick Services team for providing exceptional technical and customer services!
