I called in for an appointment because I needed to repair a toilet. Technician came out and took a look and left for about 5 minutes and came back to show some options for repair. The pricing was really high so I decided to wait and just pay the service dispatch fee. The Technician then tells me it will be $99. I was told the dispatch fee was only $89 by two agents when I called to make my appointment. But the Technician said the price went up a day or two ago. Mind you, I made the appointment the same week so was totally shocked that no one told me the price went up and they had many chances while reminding me of my appointment that the price would go from $89 to $99. Just seems like a scam for them to come and take a look without doing any work expect to say yes it's broken and then not even mentioning the price change. Seems to me a bit unethical to change without prior notice.

I get the fact that everyone wants to make money but $271 for to replace a toilet handle is ridiculous. Travis, thanks for calling me and explaining to me what happened. In addition, I want to thank you for making it right. It says a lot about a company that cares about the customer experience.

I liked that a photo of the technician was sent to me before he showed up. Fenwick was prompt with communications and the tech was on time. He was professional and informed me of what’s would take place. However, a permit from my county was required since it was a replacement ‘propane’ water heater. I was told no permit was necessary. So, a small bit of confusion on that. The total price in the written quote for everything was higher than expected. Other than that, I was impressed with the tech and the excellent prompt communication of Fenwick. I would call on them for a different need.
