Very good experience with the AC checkup! Wesley was on time and got straight to work. The AC unit was on the roof of the second floor and he took care of it with no complaints. Courteous, professional. A-1!

Fenwick reached out to me from a previous phone call that I made to them to set this appointment up. I was pleased that they did so. Ben came out and was very knowledgeable, calm and helpful. The price seems outrageously high, but I am still considering the options. Also, Fenwick does not do the follow up testing required by JEA, and that is a problem for me. . All in all I was pleased with the technicians work, but that’s about it.

I had a terrible experience with Fenwick. An employee from Fenwick (I will not put his name out there) came out to quickly diagnose the entire HVAC needed replacing. The capacitor, the motor to my fans, the defrost board, etc. The entire time making notes of any blemishes in the system saying “the box around the capacitor destroyed it due to conduction” and “the burn marks”, to then serve me my only two options: 1. Replace the parts noted above for $2700, or 2. Get a new system and I can finance. I declined as this seemed very predatory and fear-mongering, to which he immediately did the following: 1. removed “non-essentials”, 2. added coupons, and 3. let me use HIS military discount, all of which got the price down to $1700. I persisted and said I will need to get a second opinion on the HVAC before doing anything, to which he said he “knew a guy” that could stop by after hours and do the exact same quality of work for $1200. I declined again. After all of this, I was charged $89, to which he “graciously” didnt add on the additional $89 that they meant to charge me. How kind. Within 24 hours, I had a family friend take a look, and quickly identify that the capacitor is bad. Within 30 minutes we put a new capacitor in the condenser and the system is working. I understand Fenwick has a “fixed rate” to which they will eat any costs if the price goes above initially expected; however, a capacitor costs $30 at Ace Hardware. Instead of carefully checking each part to identify what can be salvaged and what needs replacing, he decided to try and charge me a blanket 100x fee over the cost of a capacitor which is absurd. To drop the price over $1000 when I gave simple pushback is absolutely absurd as well. This was my first experience with Fenwick - Never again. Do better.
