Broken water inlet pipe at 1 pm on a Sunday. Called Fenwick and they said someone would be available 2-6. Steven arrived at 3, discussed how he could repair the broken pipe, and had it completely repaired in an hour. Tremendous job and excellent customer service.

Loved the window of arrival when they are projected to arrive. They also have a tracking app to let you know the moment they arrive. Technician introduced himself with his name and company. Even had shoe covers to protect my floor. Was in and out in about 40 minutes. Explained all the system he checked and readings he received in addition to their meaning. Even tried to help me find the coupon to ensure I had the best deal for my service. I feel with his explanations I could do the service myself.

We have been customers of Waychoff’s since 2017. We signed up for their routine maintenance and purchased every extra filter or accessory (light, tstat) they recommended. When our AC had to be replaced in 2020 we installed the unit they recommended. When our new unit was around three years old, we started having problems. We have been completely without AC 4 times before today’s break down. Each breakdown took days to resolve (the worst was 5days) because they don’t carry the parts for the unit they installed. We stuck with them because the unit was under warranty but started wondering about their abilities after the second breakdown. This current breakdown is the third in 4 months! When the tech arrived today, before even looking at the unit he started out by telling us it was out of warranty (they just replaced parts 5 weeks ago) and that the design of our system is problematic (we’ve never been told this). Since we always get a different tech, we felt he may not be aware of all of the prior issues so we started explaining and questioning what the problem could be this time and if they could fix it. He became frustrated quickly and told us it would be better if we called someone else. Reflecting on his visit now, I think he showed up expecting a confrontation and was prepared to argue with us about anything being covered under warranty. We also wonder if they are frustrated because they can’t fix our AC and wiling to lose a customer rather than make it right at this point. So now, we have a new company coming this afternoon. Praying they are more qualified.

The service technicians, Dillon and Sean, were on time, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I was given options for repair or replace of the water heater. Dillon showed me the problems with the water heater and I chose to get a new one. Work was done within a couple of hours, total! I checked the average price of remove/install of a water heater in Jacksonville FL and Fenwick’s charges were in the mid range. Three months after the new water heater was installed I began having a sulfur smell from the water spigots in the kitchen and b.r. I contacted Fenwick and a ‘technician’ was sent out and told me the water heater was too new to have problems. I asked him to raise the temp only the water heater thermostat and he told me he raised it ‘5 degrees’. Within a few days the smell from the hot water faucet got worse and I called a real plumber. He determined that the water heater temp was too low. When he checked the thermostat it was 125 degrees, meaning that the set up temp. was 120 degrees. He upped the temperature to 140 degrees, drained the water tank, ran water through the house faucets and the odor has gone away. I would like to be reimbursed for the $89.00 service fee Fenwick charged me for that three months visit.

Matthew was informative and professional. He greeted me and educated me on some of the things I could do to make sure the AC stays in good shape. He told me about the services the company provides but was not pushy. He answered every question and dispelled some Myths I asked about. His knowledge is outstanding and for Waychoff's to have a person like this is great. It speaks volumes about their high standards and hiring practices and it gives me hope that we still have good people and good companies who will do the job and not try to take advantage of us who don't know anything about HVAC. Called late Thursday afternoon requesting an electrician as smoke was coming from my breaker panel when the a/c was running. They sent am HVAC tech who was great except he's not allowed to do electrical work. He called a supervisor and was told they would send an electrician to us Friday a.m. Friday mourning I get a call that they can't come until tomorrow even though it was their mistake. The HVAC guy's attitude raised this rating from 1 star.

I've got nothing but trust for Fenwick services. They've never let me down or left me hanging. Today they replaced my hot water heater, technician was a good guy, did the job efficiently and was very friendly. Update to previous review, 5/28/25: had a weird PVC pipe fall off the side of my house. Couldn't figure out what it was or why it was there. Called Fenwick and they had me send them a picture to determine what service I needed. They sent out electrician Brian Shields who was very friendly, advised what the pipe was there encasing, and resolved the issue. He then inspected my breaker box, found an issue, and fixed it for less than it cost me to have a mechanic even look in the direction of my car. Very friendly. Fenwick has never let me down.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, which came equipped with a brand new AC (great right?!) except the brand new AC had loads of problems, I have no idea who installed it because I just bought this home, and no hvac repair company would take the job because the system is possibly still under warranty; even though it is literally impossible to get ahold of the manufactures. Fenwick is the only company who would send somebody to come look at our system. And I’m so thankful they did because after a few service calls all of my questions have been answered, all problems are being solved in a timely and reasonably priced manor. And the technician is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. Extremely knowledgeable in his field, and an all around great person and representative of this company. Fenwick Jacksonville just finished a complete repiping of our house's water supply plumbing due to a slab leak, plus replacement of nearly all faucets and fixtures. From start to finish, the Fenwick team provided the best customer service experience one could ever expect. Master Plumber Darryl Lucas and Crew Lead Plumber Matt Atnip were unbelievably attentive and accommodating of our needs and carried out the work expertly with a very high attention to detail. Every single plumber who worked on this large project were excellent. Lastly, everyone on the work crew were extremely professional and very personable.

I’ve been using them for over 10 years with no problems. Never felt ripped off. I had them come to replace a faulty cartridge in my sink faucet and they tried to charge me $900!!! They said because I have a “nice” faucet that it required a specialty cartridge. The manufacturer website specifically states it uses a standard cartridge that can be bought at Home Depot for $10. So after watching their 3 minute video on how to do it yourself and with a standard Home Depot cartridge. I fixed it myself for $10 and 5 minutes of my time. Now that they’re corporately owned they will astronomically rip you off when they get a chance.

Jerald was the technician that showed up to assess our A/C and the one thing above all else is that he didn't sugar coat anything. He got straight to the point and gave me 2 options. Replace the coil or replace the unit. Given the age of the unit, the easy choice was to replace the unit. Jerald went the extra mile and set up an appointment with a salesman that we already had a relationship with 3 years prior. What could have been a hand ringing, stressful situation was actually pleasant even though it was expensive. It's all about customer service and pending the installation, so far so good!
